Is CarpoolCleveland safe?
Safety is our top priority. We suggest you meet the person you are considering traveling with in a public place. Ask for photo identification, telephone number, and copy of insurance. We allow users to leave feedback for other users as a guide for safety. Do not travel with someone you don’t trust. Review the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
How much does it cost?
It is only $1 to sign up for unlimited use. This small fee allows us to verify individuals using the site. Payment for carpools is arranged between users.
Where should I meet other carpoolers?
It is suggested that you meet potential carpoolers in a public place with plenty of parking. We have several local “hotspots” on our site that are good options for meeting.
What etiquette should I use when carpooling?
Before carpooling, decide where you’re going to meet. Decide how long you’ll wait for the other person if they are late. Establish smoking/non smoking policies, eating/drinking policies, cell phone usage policies, and radio preferences. Determine if there will be any unscheduled stops. Determining these items will help ensure a pleasurable carpool.
